Civil involvement Questions

Sooooo the other day I was driving on base and I did a right on red without stopping and I was pulled over by the MP (Military Police).

I was given a ticket for disobeying posted traffic laws. I’m sure I would have to report this, but will that affect anything. It was my first ticket ever and I had to go get it on a military base🤦‍♀️
