Will Trump become a genocidal dictator?

Hi! I'm not american btw but I learned some things about how USA politics work (pretty much necessary given the situation) however I don't understand all of it.

My question is... Why isn't anybody actively doing something to stop Trump's dictatorial aspirations? I mean, I know a few of his eo's have been challenged but a lot of what he's done is (as far as I understand) illegal, so why is nobody doing something to keep him in check? Where are the checks and balances?

Also, do you think at some point hello actually try to invade an annex Canada, Greenland, Mexico and Panama? Since he hasn't ruled out military action and he has a yathzee like Musk in his inner circle and he announced what basically is a concentration camp in Guantanamo, do you see him as a Hitler 2.0 who will commit genocide? Specifically against LBTQ+ and latinos. I know this question May be childish but I'm really nervous about it. Also, english is not my first lenguage so I'm sorry if this post is quite unreadable.
