Is Democracy in the US in peril?

This is more a question for the right as generally Reddit is very much raising a lot of alarms about this right now. I’m curious if the viewpoint of the right is reflective of this in any way. The main points being the DOGE takeover and the plethora of executive orders and the lawsuits that seem to be piling up due to these actions. Is this seen as par for the course or is this viewed as a problem in any way?
