Asian decent and fainting questions.. please no judgement 😊

Hi there, Ok so my spouse passes out randomly. It happens maybe once or so a month. He tends to faint rather easily and said it’s happened for as long as he can remember. He can also tell me right before it happens too, he gets cold chills, sees spots, gets dizzy and will let me know it’s going to happen soon. Hes out for just a few moments and then comes too. Hes still breathing also at these times. He says it’s because he’s Asian (50%Chinese/50%Vietnamese). And I have absolutely no reason to be concerned. So I’m asking here as an Irish,German, Sicilian girl.. is this true or just ‘poppy cock’? (…I will be getting this man to see a doctor regardless but still.)
