Immodium is the only thing that helps

I was diagnosed with Crohns in May of this year, but have been having horrible flares since about February. I started taking Immodium off and on so I would be able to go to work and hang out with friends more, and eventually that turned into me taking it every day so I could live a normal life again (my doctor has completely approved of this.) I still had some symptoms on Immodium but nothing too inhibiting. Mostly blood in stool and nausea. I recently got my prescribed my first meds, Presnidone and Azathioprine, and got off the Immodium so I could focus on how those two made me feel. I know Azathioprine takes a while to kick in but the Presnidone does absolutely nothing for me except give me brain fog. In fact, I feel 10x worse lately on these meds and off the Immodium. I have severe abdominal pain on and off the toilet and can barely leave the house. Ive even had to start closely watching what I eat again, which I barely had to do on the Immodium. Has anyone else experienced this? Immodium is like a miracle drug for me, I wish I could live off it forever.
