I really regret binge-reading the manga
So I'm one of those grubby little speedrunners who got introduced to the series through the anime & read through the entire manga in a day or two, and as the title said, really coming to regret it.
I usually try to pace myself with these things & leave a day or so between arcs to cool down before jumping back in, but once I got to the Kaiju arc I entered a fuge state and the next thing I knew it was 3am and I was on the most recent chapter.
The regret comes from just speeding through the emotional moments -IE some of the backstories and Momo & Okarun's relationship developing- as well as glossing over the detail Tatsu put into his art as well as all the fun little things he sneaks into the background.
Going back & re-reading the manga at a slower pace made me fully appreciate the story & allowed me to see what I missed when I first zoomed through it at 90MPH (idk what that is in KM) but part of me is always going to be disappointed that my first readthrough of this series was so brisk.
Let this be a warning to all of you anime onlies thinking about binge reading the manga in between Cour 2
