Visiting Bisbee

Has anyone visited Bisbee before? Where did you stay, how did you get there, what was your experience?

I'm planning a road trip there soon, but my car is a piece of shit and I'm afraid it's going to break down or overheat or something in the desert. I can't find a greyhound from Tuscon to Bisbee or I'd take that :(

Also, as a sidenote, I wanted to start this discussion on the dougstanhope.com forums but I can't seem to find them. Are they gone forever?
