Crossover frequency

I'm a little late to the Evergoods train, but I'm looking at getting a CPL24 in the near future. I saw some of the crossover bags (Phoenix and Griffin) and I am absolutely in love with the Griffin.

Are crossovers something they do regularly or was this a missed opportunity that won't come back around?
