Where do you get the inspiration to continue the story?

Hi!

I have started to write a story, after i passed a game.I saw some k-pop artists in it and decided "what if they were a main characters of this story"? so i have putted them there, startted few chapters, but i cannot continue. like i see this story, but somehow when i return to draft - my mind left my body.. its already a half and a year since i cannot continue it..

how are you dealing with it? any secrets?
