Genshin PSN Unlinking

Hi, I wanna unlink my PSN account to my Genshin Impact because it is already binded in Hoyoverse. However, before I proceed I wanna make sure that I will not lose any progress because I saw a similar e-mail from a FaceBook group that says that the player that wants to unbind the PSN account will lose progress. Should I be worried about it? Will my progress be lost? Thank you.
