Ordered Google Phone off amazon, delivery was empty

Hi guys, recently I ordered a google pixel 6 on amazon.

When the delivery came, there was nothing inside the box - I noticed this upon arrival, so opened it in front of the delivery driver. We both saw that this was empty and the driver took a photo and reported this to his boss.

Despite this, amazon have marked the package as delivered and are refusing to refund or replace this unless I file a police report. The police have said that there is insufficient evidence in the report (even though I gave them all the evidence available to me including the delivery driver and managers name) and so have not investigated this. Amazon are refusing to cooperate with the police and are still refusing a refund.

Is there anything I can do here?
