amusing comments from strangers

Walking out of the Y, disoriented from maaaybe pushing myself too hard working out teehee, I heard "You look like a birch tree" and said "thank u haha." didn't realized wtf he meant until hours later.

Another time someone pointedly touched my arm and said "i can sense you've been through a lot" like they were some kinda witch... girl that sense is called sight. u saw it.

i used to teach preschool, and always wore long sleeves but they slip sometimes or when washing kids hands I'd roll them up. So if kids asked I'd say "i used to have an illness that made me get a lot of scars." But one kid would not trust that. He was like "i think ur really clumsy and always drop your phone on your arm" (but like in a more little kid way im paraphrasing). and I was like I don't think thatd make u scar.. and he was like "why are u lying. to pretend you arent clumsy?" and what could i even say? I am very clumsy 😭

One time on a first date we got kinda stoned and were sitting on the ground by a river, and my pantleg started riding up and they j went "SCARS!" b4 processing what kind they were. still a really nice date tbh

I'd love to hear from other people the funny/cringe things ppl have said about their scars
