Complete newbie to makeup, have no idea what to pick or what brands

I am 20F and I have never, ever worn makeup of any form. I do not even do basic skin care nor have I ever. I am autistic and have a lot of sensory issues and the feeling of lotion/products, and I am going to assume makeup, makes me want to crawl out of my skin. I really like seeing makeup as a cool wearable art form though! Lately I have been trying to care for myself more and learning how to dress and DIY lots of clothing and jewelry which has been so fun.

I want to try out makeup too though, but something very minimal and nothing that covers my face. I want to mess around with it and just have fun if I can.

I love the colors, the unique designs, and the fancy shapes people do around the eyes. Does anybody know any brands and what types of products I should try?

I was looking into cruelty free brands and whatever has no harmful ingredients if that is a thing. I want to be very kind to my skin. I thankfully do not have terrible skin and I would like to decorate it without causing it any harm.
