Other mom’s cars

I am a sahm of 2 (and one on the way) and I feel very lucky for my ability to stay home. I love my mid-90’s car with less than 100k miles. It’s never failed me. However…

Every time I go to a play date, or a school tour for my kindergartener, or anywhere with other mom’s, I feel like I have the worst car! Not that it’s a competition, but I don’t understand how so many moms (and even sahm’s) can be driving Lexuses, BMW’s, Audi’s, all very new looking. And it makes me wonder what they think when they see me.. do I stick out as the mom who probably lives in poverty?
