MHW ICEBORNE - Greatsword rant.

I've been playing mhwib for the first time and RN just after facing the Barioth, I feel like the greatsword is one of the most boring and frustrating weapons in the game. Seriously, I don't understand, greatsword with 1k damage, you hit the monster and do 10 damage, like, what? I feel like the cons are much bigger than the pros, the time you spend running around, poking the monster and waiting for an opportunity to land a TCS, only for the monster to get up in 2 seconds and leave as if nothing had happened is simply infuriating, while With any other weapon you have several ways to deal constant damage to the monster without running the risk of losing your opportunities for punishment because of random things. I just wish the focus skill was more impactfull in the GS gameplay, like, I have focus3 and I dont feel any difference. Also, the damage in this weapon is also so random, it feels like. And the fact that you are punished so hard for acidentally hitting the leg or wings, and all your damage is negated its just so unfair. I'm praticing the Longsword or maybe Insect Glaive.
