It’s not about protecting children

I wish the republicans enabling these horrible policies would just go full mask off and stop hiding behind the “protecting children argument”

Even if I were to concede that puberty blockers and horomones are dangerous to kids, which I am not by the way, but for the sake of argument, let’s concede this point, wouldn’t it make more sense to place a ban on it for everyone 16 and under instead of 19? 19 year olds can legally drive, have sex, get tattoos and are considered adults in the eyes of the law. So if it was about protecting the children, then why are they banning it for adults too?

Oh yeah, I know why! BECAUSE IT HAS FUCKING NOTHING TO DO WITH THE KIDS. It has nothing to do with the kids and has all to do with the fact that they don’t like us, they think we’re gross and should be wiped off the face of the earth.
