Wasted Opportunity
Matabi should have had Blue Fire Release and an Ice Release Kekkei Genkai.
All Tailed Beasts have some chakra releases at their disposal, some unique Jutsus, Isobu even has a Space-Time Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and ability to create Corals, all in one package. Three out of the Nine Tailed Beasts even have their own Kekkei Genkai.
While Matatabi just has… Blue Fire Release? Which isn’t shown to even be a cut above regular Fire Release.
I get that Yugito Nii had to lose to Hidan and Kakuzu. But let’s be honest. There’s a reason that Kakuzu was hit with Fire Release and not a Tailed Beasts Bomb. Which is odd considering that Yugito was a Perfect Jinchūriki.
It’s just such a shame cause aside from Kurama, Matatabi is my favorite.
Shown to be respectful and polite towards others, speaks formally, really cool design, and was soo cute as a juvenile Tailed Beast!
