Outdoor Nest Cam (battery) plugged into light socket

I already have a couple of outdoor wired nest cams, but I don't have any coverage for my front porch. Since there are no outlets anywhere near my porch, I'm thinking of getting a battery powered Nest cam with the power cable and plugging that into one of my light sockets using a socket adapter. The lights on this circuit are on a timer and they run from dusk until about 2:00am. I'm thinking this should be sufficient to keep the batteries fully charged so I'll still get coverage while the lights are off and running in battery mode.

Has anyone else here done something similar? Any issues that I should be aware of when running it like this? Any reasons not to go with this setup?
