Doubt regarding the new PHEV

Hi,

This might be silly but i have a doubt. Has anyone used the PHEV without plugging them in ? If so, how much range did you get. Will it be efficient as a normal hybrid if i do that

So I've checked out a new outlander PHEV. I really loved the car.

My issue is that I rent my place and most probably my landlord won't allow me to plug it in. I'm also a support worker i do dirve around quite often atlest a 1000kms a week mostly in the city. (80% city 20% higway)

I'm from Northern Ontario, Canada

The other option I've considered is thr CRV hybrid but it has higher insurance premium than the outlander

Considered RAV4 but the wait time is too long.

I appreciate input into this subject
