Battles are really not that fun anymore

With the release of the Space-time Smackdown Deck, battling has devolved into needing one of the 3 meta-decks, or you've no real chance winning anything.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting to rock up with an uncompetitive deck and obliterate Palkia and Dialga, but prior to the STS release, you could realistically win with inventive decks using lesser known abilities, moves and tactics to take down a few Celebi or Mewtwo decks.

Now, there is really no chance of winning and it feels like a waste of time. Even though I have cards to build the meta decks those battles are frankly boring and ends up as a coin flipping contest, either who goes first or via Misty tossers.

Until we get an official non-EX competition or some way to re-balance battles, I don't really feel like engaging with the game. Anyone else feel the same?
