Trying to escape the heat of Texas to Pennsylvania or anything north, north east

I'm looking for recommendations to work in meat processing factories or any factory job that does not require HS diploma. I unfortunately do not have a GED (working on it). We are trying to move to Penssylvania since my wife can work in that state as a chiropractor. Mainly I want to secure a job before moving so she can follow me after. We do have a 1 year old so education for us is important. Does anyone know a good city to start looking for this kind of job?
