Software maintenance renewal nag

So I bought a software out right from TechSmith Snagit. Now I am frequently being bugged by the software itself and via e-mail, that my "Maintainance Renewal" is due. As I said in my first sentence I bought it out right, can they renege and lock the software from running on MY computer until I give them money? As of today it still runs.

Any thoughts into this?
