Am I being too aggressive with Strange?

Looking to try out other roles a bit more. I have played Vanguard plenty of times to get the idea of what to do and feel like I have enough game sense to be competent, but I am looking for some tips on Strange, or just shield Vanguards in general like Magneto. I know I am not good yet with Magneto since I pop shield or bubble too fast when taking damage, but I think I have a decent grasp on Strange.

I played 4 games recently as Magneto or Strange. All were wins, so I can't show a loss recently, but game 2 was very, very close. I haven't played Vanguard in forever aside from these 4 games. Any tips would be appreciated. Currently D3. Was D1 at my highest this season maining Loki, but it hasn't been working out lately.

I solo queue 99% of the time. Just curious if my style of play on Strange is good or bad for the long term to climb to GM+. Be as critical as you want. I just want to improve. This is the only game I have stuck with this long and still enjoy it like day 1.

Edit: To define how I play Strange, or try to play him, I like to get up into the opposing team's face as much as possible and literally push them away through my aggressiveness and only really back off when I notice heals not coming in fast enough or at all. I try to get the Duelists or Supports and not focus on the other tank too much. Still working on my ult timings by tracking support ults and getting in from above away from the other tank so I can't be blocked. I try to use it on their supports.
