roblox voice chat not working (mobile)

whenever i turn on my mic and start talking, all people can hear are crunchy noises coming from my end. I don't think my mic is actually broken since people can hear me perfectly fine on WhatsApp/discord/etc. I'm just not sure why it isn't working on roblox. Please help
