[Miscellaneous] lips feel super tight and nothing seems to help ]: plsss help

lmk if this isn't the right sub for this and if there's a better sub for this!! just desperate 🥹🥹

so some backstory- a year ago i thought i had eczema around my lips bc they would feel super tight and dry and i would exfoliate with a warm, damp towel but that made me bleed & secrete plasma or something so i used a bunch of vaseline lip therapy but that didnt help at all? so i bought some hydrocortisone from target and that worked wonders but then my skin got addicted to it bc my lips would just be super itchy without it so i began to rely on it. then i learned about TSW and now i threw away my hydrocortisone & im starting to think it's not eczema and maybe an allergy??

now my lips are just feeling super fucking thick and tight and it's been 2 weeks 🥹🥹 vaseline, medicated blistex, the hospital brand lip balm all aren't helping with how my lips feel. in fact the medicated blistex made it way worse.

i bought lanolin & aquaphor literally yesterday and i've only used the lanolin so far and my lips aren't dry nor chapped, just feels sooo thick and tight, but my lips won't break when i try to laugh or eat. it'll feel like it's better/less thick and tight as as i apply stuff but then i go to sleep and it feels worse in the morning but it seems like this morning my upper lip is starting to peel. the corners of my lips will break but i think the lanolin solved that for me. should i give the lanolin some more time to work or should i just go to a derm 🥹🥹
