A few questions for owners of eXtremeRate's clicky buttons

Hi all,

I love my Steam Deck, and before the Steam Deck came around I loved my PS Vita. The Deck trumps the Vita in almost all areas, but the one thing I really miss is the Vita's amazing D-Pad.

While the Deck's D-Pad isn't horrible, it isn't great, either. It isn't nearly as statisfying to use, and I often experience misinputs in more precise games such as Tetris Effect and Crypt of the Necrodancer.

I've just recently learned about the existence of eXtremeRate's "Face Clicky Kit", but I had a few questions before I make the purchase;

  1. How is the noise? From the lone sound test clip I've found on Reddit, it seems super loud and kinda obnoxious (imo), but maybe it's just the recording?

  2. How is the quality? I've only seen two posts bemoaning the Clicky Kit, one regarding a torn membrane and the other regarding false diagonals. Poor quality seems the exception rather than the norm, though.
    Still, I'd like to know how they hold up over time and if they're a notable improvement in accuracy (also if they reduce travel distance)

Thanks in advance for any thoughts/opinions 👍
