Are African net sponges actually better at exfoliating?
African net sponges have been a popular topic of my TikTok for the last few months and honestly I’m not sure all the claims are true. After researching it looks like most African net sponges are made from nylon, but so are bath poufs. How can one nylon be better at exfoliating than another? On TikTok people also claim that African net sponges can last for up to two years which is way longer than the other types of bath sponges (bath poufs are 3-4 weeks and plastic loofahs are 8 weeks). These products are using the same materials so why are people saying one needs to be replaced every few weeks while the other only needs to be replaced every two years?
