Pen desync with screen

I have the Supernote A5X (HoM pen) and it has been working great for the last few months I've had it.

One thing I've noticed is that occasionally when I'm writing the screen will start displaying what I'm writing a few millimeters above where my pen tip is. It is localized to a specific part of the screen and after some time it will just start working again correctly.

I have tried turning the screen on and off, changing to different notes, recalibrating the pen, and even restarting the device through the system menu but the problem persists until it goes away on its own after an unspecified amount of time.

Has anyone else experienced this?
