can i appeal to business analytics?

hi all, i recently finished my interview with suss for their marketing degree, was wondering if i do get a spot, am i able to write an appeal to their business analytics course instead. now although this was my first choice, there are a few reasons im thinking of switching over to BA instead:

1) shift of interest -> im thinking of working as BIA/data related in business and a BA degree would be much mor relevant. 2) very general degree with no technical skills-> marketing as a degree is quite general and i would like something more technical

if i am able to do so, would i be able to use some side courses to strengthen my appeal? learning python and doing cs50 from harvard now, as i have no prior analytics experience seeing i graduated with a marketing diploma.
