Total wireless review after a month!!!
After a month of using Total Wireless’s service, I’m writing to share my experience. As a resident of the NYC area, where all three major networks offer excellent service, I decided to switch from T-Mobile after over a decade. The main reason for my switch was the enticing 50% discount offered by Total Wireless.
I opted for the Total 5G Unlimited Plan, which costs $25 per month. This plan provides me with unlimited fast data within a 5GUW coverage area, which is perfect for my needs. Since I use over 100 GB of data every month, I conducted a few speed tests and was pleasantly surprised by the results. I consistently achieved download speeds above 500 Mbps and upload speeds above 50 Mbps.
Another feature I appreciate is the option to have a 15 GB hotspot, although I haven’t had much use for it so far.
When I stream 1080p video, it plays smoothly without any buffering. However, when I switch to 4K video, the stream starts buffering. I would say the video downloads are not as fast and it takes time to download the video.
The porting process from T-Mobile to Total Wireless was a breeze. I completed the online porting process on the Total Wireless website, and my number was transferred within 30 minutes. I also successfully set up auto-pay and for the second month I haven’t encountered any billing or promo-related issues.
Overall, I’m incredibly satisfied with my decision to switch to Total Wireless. The combination of the excellent deal, the unlimited fast data, and the user-friendly porting process has made it a worthwhile choice for me. If you are thinking to switch to total wireless and you have great Verizon service in your area please join it without hasitation and its better to do it online without involving customer service representatives.
