Mod Post: Regardless of how you feel about The Island, you are still expected to not be a dick when posting on /r/WWEGames
Look.
I get it.
The Island is the microtransaction hell we all feared, and for a lot of us it raises some real concerns about the future of where these games are headed.
I don't like it either.
There are others who aren't all that fussed, because they don't intend to play The Island anyway, or they're locked out of it. I play on PC, so I'm kinda in that camp as well because I'm actually a little relieved it won't even be in the version I'm playing.
These are both reasonable positions to take.
Insulting others for having a different opinion to you isn't reasonable.
Being aggressive and confrontational towards others over this isn't reasonable.
We do not tolerate that shit on this subreddit.
You either conduct yourself respectfully, like a person who understands how to navigate human society, or you fuck off.
Those are your options.
This very much extends to the way that you speak about the game developers and 2K staff. Criticise them all you want, but abuse will not be tolerated.
It's not a difficult thing to do, to just choose not to be a dick. If you really are that incapable of not being a dick, that you decide to act like a dick, you'll get banned.
If you see someone acting like a dick, don't be a dick back. Just report them and let them get banned.
