Can you transport tames on a raft in mobile?

I just started playing the newer mobile version of the game after having not played for years. Ive made a raft base thats just stone foundation with wood walls, and everytime i move my raft my parasaur doesnt move with the raft and just phases right through the walls. I remember playing on PC years ago and having no problem transporting my tames on a raft am i missing something?
