People in this city are so rich!
A few weeks ago, I went to Indiranagar 100 Feet Road and Defence Colony - such an amazing area. Everything is just a short walk away - tons of food options, pubs, and basically anything you need. I was just thinking how awesome it must be to live there.
Defence Colony is on another level. I walked to Magnolia Bakery through the inner residential streets and saw a bunch of Mercedes and BMWs just parked on the road at night like they were abandoned—yet no one cared.
Last week, I checked out Jayanagar 5th Block. Not as flashy as Defence Colony, but still some crazy houses—huge 60x40 and even 100x120 homes with open verandas and coconut trees, giving off major South Indian architecture vibes. The 4th and 5th Blocks are packed with big brands and chains, and the streets are always buzzing with people shopping.
Honestly, Bangalore feels like a pretty upper-middle-class city as per the Indian standards.
