Shooting Tethered

Can anyone help, been looking on Google but not finding a definitive answer. I have a Canon EOS 2000D and I’m wanting to shoot tethered, preferably with Lightroom . I connected the camera to my MacBook but couldn’t get it to work. Can anyone advise if they’ve done this and if so how? TIA
