College questions

I’m a little confused on how many years of college I would need to take in order to graduate with a computer science degree. I’m the first in my family to go to college so I don’t know a lot of things. I know that you need to take two years to finish your general education, and then another four years for a bachelors degree. Does that mean I will be doing 6 years of college? Are the first two years just ge that will be nothing computer science related? Is there a way around that I can go straight into cs?

(Edit: I understand now that the first two years of college is not it’s own thing, I had misinterpreted that general ed would take up its own two years, and then you would do four years of a bachelors. Thank you everyone :D
