Anyone else’s hair get extremely tangled at the nape of their neck?

Basically what the title says. I have 3a hair and it’s around 2b right at the nape of my neck. It gets EXTREMELY tangled no matter what I do. Especially with winter and wearing sweaters, I can only wear my hair down for a day before it’s knotted to no end. Does anyone else struggle with this/have any tips on how to prevent it from getting super tangled? Also for reference, I do use a bonnet and have a silk pillow case. Really debating getting an undercut because washing and detangling it is a mess and sometimes even painful :/

Edit: thank you to all those who gave suggestions! For the ones following this thread looking for tips, here are the main ones people suggested: 1. Detangle everyday 2. Use extra gel when styling that part 3. Use extra leave in conditioner when styling and put more in before you go to sleep 4. A small undercut honestly seems to be a game changer for many people 5. Braid that section, pin it up, and cover it with the rest of your hair 6. Don’t put mousse in that part 7. Use oil every night and every day to prevent it from getting tangled 8. This usually happens when the ends are dead so get a haircut 9. A claw clip is better than a low ponytail because your hair isn’t rubbing on your shirt 10. This part of your hair is called a kitchen (the more you know☺️)
