Dad's who go to the gym regularly, could you share your routine?

Going back to work soon. I'm expecting to leave the house around 7:30am, and get back home around 6:15pm on average if I don't work out. Normally a gym visit is around an hour of my time not counting getting there and back.

Baby normally wakes up around 7am, and bedtime is between 7:30pm-8pm. I would like to be there for as much bonding time as possible.

A few options are to gym on the way to work, and leave much earlier, gym on the way home, getting back just in time for bedtime, or waiting until after dinner for the gym... leaving no time to relax.

I'm guessing others have thought through this. Hoping for helpful tips. Before the baby we would gym on the way home because traffic in my area is insane (1 hour during rush hour, 25 minutes otherwise), but that doesn't sound as easy of a decision given how early the baby goes to sleep.
