What's a good headlamp for hunting?
I hunt raccoons at night quite a bit and looking for a good headlamp. Adjustable beam and 18650 batteries/rechargeable are a plus.
Edit: I scan fields and trees with a thermal scanner for raccoons. I will then gather my gear (rifle with just a day scope, adjustable beam torch which is the Coyote Reaper, and my dragging rope). Usually I'm able to walk/drive right up to them after locating to shoot them out of the tree. I'll probably fix mount my torch to the rifle and use it for shooting only (where it really comes it handy because of how small the light can be focused). Max shot distance is probably 50 yards.
The headlamp would provide extra light for walking/navigating as well as used to shoot if needed. Not looking to spend anymore than $100.
