Help with Backyard Design

So I'm looking to spruce up my backyard. I was thinking of putting landscape beds along the left and rear fences, but Im unsure if I should make them straight/curved/etc. Then was going to plant some hydrangeas, roses, and a few others. Was hoping for some suggestions from more artistic minds.

Also if anyone had any suggestions for websites, or apps where I could design the ideas into the picture so I could give my wife a preview.
