Help identifying this rifle
I have a rifle that I inherited from my grandfather. He had a knack for making his own firearms, I have a .308 that was confirmed to be made by him. I’m wondering if this is another one that he may have made as I’ve not been able to find anything like it online. It appears to be a Henry-Martini style action. It’s a single shot .44 Magnum, with a 17” barrel. There’s no manufacturer anywhere I can see. Has what appears to be GE stamped on the lever and the trigger guard, something that resembles a crows foot stamped on the top, and 44 Mag stamped (possibly by hand) on the barrel and a 5 digit serial (?) number stamped on the bottom in front of the trigger guard. Was going to include pictures of the markings, but apparently I can only upload one photo in this sub.
