Current State of Affinity & Adobe Alternatives for 3D Artists on Linux?

I use a lot of 3D software, including Blender, Fusion 360, and Substance Painter.

I’m aware that Substance Painter is Adobe software and doesn’t have great Linux support. Most discussions around Adobe software on Linux seem to focus on Photoshop, where the usual suggestions are either using GIMP or running an older cracked version. I understand that—personally, I use Krita for 2D work.

However, I haven't seen much discussion about 3D software beyond Blender, especially when it comes to Substance Painter. Substance to me was always quite unique and i was wondering if there are there any viable Linux-native alternatives. or is something like Dual-boot or a GPU-Passthrough VM the only real option?

Additionally, I read a while back that Affinity software was seeing better Wine support. Has there been any progress on that front? Would love to hear from others who use Linux for 3D work.
