The 1994 version of lion king never had an backstory

I keep seeing people say that the lion king had an good backstory and they should of never change it... but... like.. what do you mean even mean never even had an backstoryin the frist place? in the animated flim there's no proof of an actually backstory then the new movie Mufasa.

Like everything that people had said is this backstory

"Scar dad hated taka so he scar he's face and he favored mufasa because he was the gonna be the king taka was victim and got jealous blah blah"

Like I'm confused what you talking about? Because the last time I check that was fan made from the lion king fandom it self never an actual canon story from Disney itself?

And before anyone says "Oh what about the books" those are also not canon not even written by disney.

Like can we stop saying the 1994 had a good backstory when it wasn't ever canon or real? Because it's starting to get annoying too see "Oh but the original plot is better then mufasa" when it wasn't ever comfrim or canon only comfrim from the fandom because that's what they want.
