What do you think is the best way to experience cinema seriously?
I'll start by saying that this post is aimed at those who take cinema seriously, cinephiles and experts, not casual viewers. This is because it's a question aimed at those who have seen thousands of films.
In your opinion, what is the best way to experience cinema? Some say to go by directors (so watch a few films by the greatest directors in a row), others say to go by films (so watch films that interest you or that are recommended without following a scheme like with directors), others say to go by genre, others by year, others by country, others completely randomly, others based on mood. In short, there are so many ways, but my question is: for those who are not casual viewers, is there a better way than the others?
