Wheel Rim Randomly Goes Through Boot Sequence Mid Race
I've had a recurring issue when playing F1 22 with R9 and GS. The wheel rim randomly goes through the startup sequence mid race (seemingly at corner exit which is super annoying because I can't shift - none of the buttons work during this time). I've reported this in several channels in the Discord server. Other people have reported the exact same behavior with the RS, and FSR rims (all using the R9 wheelbase) while playing other games, ACC and iRacing.
I've tried rolling back the firmware version of both the wheelbase and the rim with no success. Base is currently on v1.2.0.68, rim v1.2.0.40. I've gone through the troubleshooting steps in the FAQ from the support site but am still seeing this behavior: https://support.mozaracing.com/en/support/solutions/articles/70000627811-wheel-base-faqs
Q: During the game, MOZA Pit House occasionally shows that the wheel base is disconnected, some games can be played and some games cannot be played
A: If you play some games such as "F1 2021", the connection will occasionally be disconnected, but some games will not.
You can check whether the wheel base USB is connected to the computer through the USB HUB, and you can try to connect the wheel base directly to the computer without the USB HUB.
Or change the connected USB interface of the computer. For example, the USB interface connected to the front panel of the computer can be changed to the USB interface of the rear panel of the computer, or .
If it still doesn't work, please refer to "The MOZA Pit House shows a wheel base disconnect during the game " to solve the problem.
Some games such as F1 2021 will occasionally be disconnected?!? I have the USB connected directly to a USB3 port on my computer, which is the second port I've tried. Again, same behavior.
This needs to be addressed! This stuff costs way too much money for an issue like this to be treated so passively...'some games will occasionally be disconnected'. What even is that...
