Top Tips for Starting Out

Hey everyone,

Just about to start oil painting, have you got a basic tips. I’ve tried to watch vids but most of them assume you have a bit of knowledge (which I don’t lol). They mention things like lean and fat, priming, underpainting etc which I have no real easy explanation.

Any other tips or basic tips like how to build up a painting etc?
