When did anti-army sentiment start building up in our history?
For as long as I can remember, my dad has been pretty anti-army. Even as he supported IK's rise to power ~2018 and apprehending the Sharifs, he was always uneasy about his reliance on the military and electables. I know plenty of my school and college friends whose views slowly evolved in this direction even before 2018.
So while IK's subsequent ouster was what led to a dramatic rise in anti-army sentiment, I feel like there had to be an earlier point where army's propaganda was losing its effectiveness, at least among the educated. Yet I don't know where in history I can point to where there was a slow but steady decline in the army's popularity.
