What psychology related jobs are there that can work in the hospital
Hi everyone! I’m a final-year psychology student, and I’m really interested in working in a hospital setting after graduation. However, most psychology-related hospital jobs seem to require a master’s or PhD. Is it possible to get a hospital job with only a bachelor’s degree in psychology? If so, what kind of roles should I be looking for?
Here are some specific questions I have:
- Have you or someone you know worked in a hospital with just a psychology degree? If so, what was the job?
- What entry-level positions are available for psychology graduates in hospitals?
- Did you need extra certifications or training to secure the job?
- What’s the best way to apply for these roles?
- Are hospitals open to hiring psychology grads for non-clinical positions?
- Would you recommend working in a hospital straight after graduation, or would it be better to gain experience elsewhere first?
- Any advice for someone who wants to build a hospital career with only a psychology degree?
I’d really appreciate any insights, experiences, or advice. Thank you in advance!
