Impressive_Plant4418 Official Endorsement
Well everyone, it's not looking good for the Turtle / Plant ticket. We are behind in the independent primary and it doesn't look like we are coming back. So I am going to throw in the towel and release my official endorsement.
When looking at both of the candidates we have in retrospect, it's easy to see why we might feel deflated or willing to vote third party to channel our anger at the relative mediocrity of the two candidates.
Living-Disastrous is not the best the democratic party could have come up with. I think he is somewhat of a right-winger masquerading as a leftist and is also a bit of a corporate establishment plant. He is not as electable as some of the other candidates might have been. He only won because of a coin flip and delegate transfers. I think the democrats could have done better here.
But let's turn our attention to the republican candidate. He claims to be a "roosevelt republican" due to being fiscally populist. But then, we look at his social beliefs. He wants a national abortion ban with no exceptions, he wants to end gay marriage, he wants to mass deport undocumented immigrants, and he wants to overturn obergefell v hodges. Just the sheer lunacy and craziness of these beliefs isn't enough to occasionally criticize in a comments section. In this set of beliefs, what I see is the most utter, disgusting, and brazen lack of compassion from someone towards groups of people that he not only claims to support but wants to make the republican party revolve around. He supports universal healthcare for all until, oops, someone needs an abortion, then screw the women, right? He supports the working man, until they happen to be gay. Screw them then, right? He happens to support the working man, until their wife may need a medically necessary abortion, but ope, national abortion ban. Screw them right? He cares about the working man unless they are an undocumented immigrant. Ope, we should just get rid of them right? These beliefs which should only rightly belong to the most basement-dwelling lobotomite with no political education at all are on full display. This is the moral compass of a parasitic venereal disease and I don’t get why this is even up for debate. u/Holiday_Change9387, you don't actually care about the working man. You don't actually care about the working people in any capacity. You just care about them to suit your false political narrative. As the famous proverb goes, The forest was shrinking, but the trees kept voting for the axe, for the axe was clever and convinced the trees that because his handle was made of wood, he was one of them. Holiday, you do not care about the forest. You are the axe.
So when looking at the differences between these two, the choice should be clear as day to any who are voting tonight and tomorrow. Living-Disastrous may not be the best candidate, and may not have the best political beliefs, but if you look at Holiday's absolute delusion and genuine insanity, most would take a relatively mediocre democratic candidate over that pure hatred and bigotry all with a false political narrative any day.
So with that, I offer my complete and full endorsement in this race to u/Living-Disastrous. While we may not agree on everything or agree on who was the best candidate, I believe that he will be the best choice of candidate in a field full of nutjob lunatics that shouldn't be anywhere close to the presidency.
So to all spinroom voters, vote for the candidate that, while maybe not being the best candidate, will do his best to prioritize the needs of american citizens and you over all other candidates. And I beg of you, please be wise with your choices.
