Most basic decent-sounding record player?

I got a few records for Christmas and I want to play them. However, when I tried to find one all the ones I wanted to get were either cheap but terrible or decent but expensive. I tried using the pinned post to find one but I was told that they're more for professional use that have good quality, while what I want is just something that plays at LEAST decently with its only function being that. Can anyone help me on this?
