Bear with me.

I've been trying to find this movie for a while, the only problem is that I can barely remember what happens and only remember a few scenes. It's a knight movie but in the theme of dark fantasy and starts with a boy who is naughty at school (I think) and then goes into a different world somehow. Only other thing I can remeber about it is that it is not a recent movie and that in one scenes I think the boys grandad teaches him how to eat water melon for some reason
